The inaugural UCB Pride Event was held in 2019 as a product of PFLAG and TWW’s recognition of the need for LGBTQIA+ celebration in Harford and Cecil County, MD. It was unanimously supported by Havre de Grace City Council and held at Concord Point Lighthouse.

It was put together by a group of six women as just an idea and a hope of support. It was an overwhelming success with over 60 vendors, 3 food vendors and an estimated 5,000 in attendance to enjoy the 4 hours of entertainers.
